In a deeply disturbing incident at a private school in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a Class 4 student was allegedly subjected to a brutal attack by three of his classmates. The children reportedly used a geometry compass to assault the victim 108 times during a fight that unfolded within the school premises. The shocking incident occurred on November 24.
The Child Welfare Committee (CWC) has taken immediate cognisance of the situation and has requested a detailed investigation report from the police.
A complaint regarding the incident has been lodged at the Aerodrome police station, with the victim's father alleging that the boy sustained scars in the brutal attack that transpired around 2 pm on November 24.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Vivek Singh Chauhan confirmed that the victim underwent a medical examination following the formal complaint. Notably, all children involved in the distressing incident are below 10 years of age. The authorities are taking appropriate steps in line with legal provisions to address the situation and ensure the well-being of the students.
